Photography has been part of my life for nearly 20 years, beginning with my first experience living outside my home country of Brazil. Having had the privilege of living and working in countries as diverse as Indonesia, India, China, and the United States, and of traveling through regions whose cultures, contrasts, and everyday moments continue to shape how I see the world, photography has become far more than a way to document my surroundings. It has evolved into a deeply personal form of expression—a way of tracing connection through light, gesture, and place. My work is rooted in curiosity, respect, and a desire to honour the dignity, complexity, and beauty of the people and places I encounter, and to tell stories that reach across borders.
